An ordinary mixing chamber “similar to a vertical cyclone” at the calciner top simply mixes. PMT’s LoopTEQ calciner burnout chamber “similar to a horizontal cyclone” however does much more than just mixing the fuels and CO with the available oxygen. Thanks to our special design, the fuel particles recirculate and thus gain additional residence time – as a consequence, improved burnout occurs.
